Synopsis:

The Real Alcázar of Sevilla is the Royal Palace of the Spanish Royal Family. The palace was originally a Moorish castle and was subsequently expanded by the Spanish monarchs in the Mudéjar style. The Alcázar is famous for its many courtyards, most notably the Patio de las Doncellas. The expansive gardens surrounding the palace are a fusion of Renaissance and Moorish elements, typical of Spanish gardens from this time.
